I’m Wasim Asghar, a Licensed Engineer in Texas, Florida, and Ontario. My journey began with studying Electrical Engineering at McMaster University, then I got a Master’s at the University of Toronto.

Back in 2014, while working on a major project for a mining client in Florida, I decided to pursue my PE licensure in the United States.I quickly realized the challenges due to the lack of comprehensive study materials for the FE and PE exams. But instead of giving up, I decided to do something about it.

I created my own study materials that made sense to me and helped me succeed. After successfully passing both exams on my first attempts, I was inspired to help others who were struggling. So, in 2015, I wrote my first book to provide the guidance I wish I had. But I didn’t stop there.

I went on to develop online courses filled with easy-to-understand videos and guides, aiming to make complex engineering concepts accessible to all.

My goal is to empower engineers, whether they’re fresh out of school or seasoned professionals, to advance in their careers by mastering the essentials for licensure.

With my background in design, commissioning, and plant engineering for energy, mining, and infrastructure projects, I bring practical insights into my teaching.

I’m not just sharing knowledge; I’m sharing experience. I’m here to guide you through your engineering licensure journey, providing the tools and support you need to succeed.
